These terms are an agreement between you (and the organisation you register) and SnipStudio, which operates SnipStudio Growth. By creating an account or using the portal you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. The service

SnipStudio Growth helps businesses improve how they are found online: it checks websites, tracks keywords and competitors, measures progress, and prepares recommendations, articles, social posts, ad plans and emails. Some features connect to other services, such as Google, WordPress or social networks, at your request. The portal is still being developed: features may change, and while this is shown in the portal we may occasionally reset test data.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • The person who registers an organisation confirms they are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf, and controls who else in the organisation can use it.
  • Tell us straight away at admin@snipstudio.ai if you think your account has been misused.

3. Your content and data

You own the content and data you put into the portal and the drafts it prepares for you. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the service to you — for example to check your website, prepare recommendations, or publish content where you ask us to. You are responsible for having the right to use anything you upload, and for the websites you ask us to check.

4. Services you connect

When you connect a third-party service, you use your own account with that service, under its terms, and any charges are billed to you by that provider — we do not add a markup. Our costs page explains what each service charges. When you connect Google, your use is also subject to Google's Terms of Service, and our use of the data is described in our privacy policy. You can disconnect any service at any time.

5. Recommendations and drafts

Reports, recommendations and drafts are prepared with automated tools, including artificial intelligence, and may contain mistakes or out-of-date information. Check facts, prices and claims before you publish anything, and make sure it meets the laws and platform rules that apply to you. Search engines, AI assistants and ad platforms decide rankings and results themselves — we cannot guarantee any position, traffic, lead or sales result.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the portal for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, including spam, fake reviews, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
  • try to access another organisation's data, get around plan limits or security, or overload the service;
  • use the portal to scrape, attack or overload websites you do not have the right to test;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the portal, except as the law allows.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first.

7. Plans, fees and expert services

Plans and their limits are shown in the portal. There are currently no charges for using the portal; if we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price before anything is charged and you can choose whether to continue. Expert services from our team are quoted separately, and nothing is charged until you have seen and accepted a quote.

8. Availability

We work to keep the portal available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice so you can export your content.

9. Disclaimer and limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, the portal is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. SnipStudio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim (or CAD $100 if you have paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending these terms

You can stop using the portal and ask us to close your account at any time. We may end these terms if you seriously or repeatedly break them. When your account is closed we delete your data as described in our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell account owners at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the portal after that means you accept the updated terms.
